PS Plus November 2024 FREE PS4 and PS5 games delay – Fans face lengthy wait for line-up | Gaming | Entertainment
There’s good news and bad news for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as fans await the release of the new games for November 2024.
The bad news is that the next batch of PS Plus Essentials are a long way from being revealed by Sony.
Indeed, due to the way the days fall, the November 2024 free PS4 and PS5 games won’t be announced until 4.30pm BST UK time on October 30.
Subscribers will have to wait almost another full week for the games to be released, with the games launching on the morning of November 5.
The good news, of course, is that you have plenty of time to redeem the current crop of games, which are among the best of the year so far.
The October free games are headlined by WWE 2K24, which is huge improvement on previous entries in the long-running series.
After a rocky few years, WWE 2K24 is a fine return to form, featuring a huge roster of wrestlers, both past and present.
The Showcase mode, meanwhile, features some of the most famous matches and moments from Wrestlemania.
“Join the biggest superstars in sports entertainment as WWE 2K24 presents a retelling of WrestleMania’s greatest moments from the last 40 years,” reads the official description.
“Take part in some of wrestling’s most unforgettable and career-defining matches, choosing from the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Undertaker and Andre the Giant, alongside current contenders ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley and Roman Reigns.”
It also adds new match types to the mix, including Ambulance matches, where the aim is to send your opponent off in an ambulance.
That’s on top of all the returning game modes and matches, including Universe mode, MyGM and lots more.
WWE 2K24 is joined by horror games Dead Space Remastered and spooky interactive novel Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!
Dead Space is a terrifying remake of the PS3 original, complete with improved visuals, new content and superior sound.
“Isaac Clarke is an everyman engineer on a mission to repair a vast mining ship, the USG Ishimura, only to discover something has gone horribly wrong. The ship’s crew has been slaughtered and Isaac’s beloved partner, Nicole, is lost somewhere on board.
“Now alone and armed with only his engineering tools and skills, Isaac races to find Nicole as the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura unravels around him. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the escalating terrors of the ship but his own crumbling sanity.”
Finally, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a psychological horror game in which players attempt to find romance.
All of the aforementioned games are available to redeem until November 5, so make sure you don’t miss out.
