Huge queues were forming on the M60 clockwise between junctions J26 and J1 after a crash forced lanes to close on the motorway near Stockport. National Highways warned of one-hour delays due to the incident. It said: “The event is expected to clear between 08.30am and 08.45am on 6 May 2025. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 09.15am and 09.30am on May 6, 2025. There are currently delays of 1 and a half hours against expected traffic.”
